THE INTERVENTION
Four couples take a weekend getaway with the plan to host a marriage intervention for one of the couples. I enjoyed this film for the realistic situations and questions being confronted about relationships and life. It’s focused on a group of friends that are dealing with life and the meaning of their own belonging. The movie is most relatable to someone in the late twenties-mid thirties age group. Director/actor Clea DuVall forms an ideal cast comprised of Jason Ritter, Cobi Smulders, Melanie Lynskey, Ben Schwartz and Vincent Piazza among others. There is a lot to like about The Intervention. The funny moments are there also when needed.
The Intervention is out on DVD and On Demand
