Last Airbender Final Poster and International Trailer Online

A new poster is out for The Last Airbender, and its nothing special but it gets the point across well enough.

As well an International Trailer is released, and its my favourite of them all.

I like this trailer best of all. This is really shaping up to be quite the adaptation of the popular animated series. The effects don’t look hokey, the characters look great (I dont care about race – despite being inspired by it, the Airbender/Avatar world is NOT Earth so as long as the characters look at act like the characters in the animated series, I am fine with it)

This looks less hokey than that first trailer did. It makes me want to see it more.

  1. So does anyone know is this likely to be shot like the cartoon with a 3 movie story arch or will they shove the whole story into 1 film?

BTW I love the cartoon almost like the 30 something girls love Harry Potter, I know it’s lame it… kinda. But it’s really well done, and from what I saw in the trailer it all looks like Book 1 stuff.

  2. This new Trailer looks awesome, and sets up the world really well for those who aren’t familiar with the cartoon. I’m excited and can’t wait to see this Movie in Theatres.

With the Special Effects they are able to do with Movies now a days, I’m really pumped and excited to see what other great cartoons will be making it to the Big Screen.

  3. 00:15 is that the kyoshi warriors WITHOUT their face-paint.

I wish directors like john favreau would take on projects such as this. I personally don’t expect much from this film. The martial arts looks kiddie style( on level with, 3 ninjas kick back). If that’s suppose to be General Iro standing near prince Zuko at 00:42 then why isn’t he chubby (there’s great chubby martial artist, its what made general iro, IRO). Also whats with the fire nation deciding to take up All black armor, or.. if there’s red its barely noticeable. And i can’t help but wonder at 00:1 if that’s suppose to be the Air temple which is suppose to be in the air, but i’m not certain it’s the air temple it could be the earth kingdom.

Even if this movie surprises me, an turns out great i will just always ponder on the thought as to what it could have been with other directors besides shyamalon.

    1. I completely agree with bjon!

So what if they changed little subtle details! That’s not gonna change the outcome of the film. Just like I don’t like the actor they choose to play Sokka but I’m not gonna judge him solely on what I’ve seen from the trailer.

The Way I see it. Don’t Judge the Movie until you’ve actually had a chance to watch it!!

  4. It is clearly my most anticipated movie of the summer, and if there is one thing I wont do its lie that I liked it if I didn’t. But for me, its pretty hard for me to dislike a film.

Nonetheless, I look forward to this very interesting adaption.
