TONI ERDMANN:

If you haven’t heard of Toni Erdmann do yourself a favor and check this gem out. This is unlike most movies you’ll see. It’s about a father attempting to reconnect with his daughter, but she wants no part of it. What does Winfried do to get his daughter Ines to pay attention to him? Well, he disguises himself and takes on the character of Toni Erdmann, an over-the-top goon whose mere appearance will crack you up. This movie is a ton of fun. It’s one of the best foreign films of 2016. I didn’t even mind the subtitles (the movie is in German), as the story and characters will have you fully engrossed.
