As a person who grew up as an unapologetic boy-band-basher even I have to admit that I seem to be a huge Justin Timberlake fan this year. I like his movies, I like his music, I like Timberlake. Seeing JT continue his rise in the world of film is fun thing to behold with his next film pairing him with the remarkable Ben Affleck and the gorgeous Gemma Arterton. Richie (Justin Timberlake), a Princeton college student who pays for school with online gambling, bottoms out and travels to Costa Rica to confront the mastermind, Ivan (Ben Affleck), whom he believes has swindled him.
Ivan sees a kindred spirit in Richie and brings the younger man into his operation. When Richie comes to fully understand the deviousness of his new boss, he tries to turn the tables on him.
The trailer looks badass and reminds me of the high risk world that comes with operating an online casino site, and the multitude of stories that can be created from that life. I like the look of the filmand although the premise seems a bit familiar I think it looks like a fun ass movie. Timberlake is really someone who’s grown as an actor over the last few years and I really appreciate Affleck when he finds himself in a role suited for his acting talents and this one looks to be a winner.
