The Motel Life: Trailer

Screenplay by: Micah Fitzerman-Blue, Noah Harpster
Directed by: Alan Polsky, Gabe Polsky
Starring: Emile Hirsch, Stephen Dorff, Dakota Fanning, Kris Kristofferson

The Motel Life, a film by the Polsky Brothers, is adapted from the novel with the same title written by Willy Vlautin. If the trailer is anything to go by, the film looks to be a gem, with great acting from Hirsch, Dorff and Fanning. It smashed it at the Rome Film Festival last year, winning a string of awards; Audience Award for Best Film @ Rome Film Festival 2012, Best Screenplay Award @ Rome Film Festival 2012 and Best Editing @ Rome Film Festival 2012.

The Motel Life explores the intense bond between two brothers living on the fringes of Reno, Nevada. They grew up dependent on each other and their big imaginations to escape the challenges of their transient life. When the brothers are involved in a fatal accident, it forces them to choose between running or facing reality. It’s a story of brotherhood, shared dreams and the redemptive power of hope.
