Quentin Tarantino has a laundry list of projects he’s mentioned at one time or another that he’d like to make with one resonating with fans, like me, fairly well and that’s a 3rd film in his “Kill Bill” series. We all know that the guy takes his sweet ass time with making films so we put it in the back of our minds, but took comfort in the fact that he had an interest. Well our buddies over at We Got This Covered were able to ask Tarantino for an update at the premiere of his latest film, Django Unchained, and the news is saddening to say the least…
I got a chance to catch up with the director briefly as he walked the red carpet at the premiere and when asked if we would ever see Kill Bill Vol. 3, he replied with the following:
“I don’t know if there’s ever going to be a Kill Bill. Vol 3. We’ll see, probably not though.”
Well… fuck. I hope something changes in the future and that this can happen but I really don’t like that “probably not” part. That part is like a knife to my fingertips and pretty much fucked up my day. And things were going so well today…
