Now we all know that, In Nolan We Trust, IMAX is the absolute best way to watch a film in a theater. We know this. But now we’re receiving further motivation that in order to get the whole picture, you need the big picture. Or something. According to the folks from IMAX a good 25% of image will only be visible on IMAX screens when watching the film next month and have even illustrated this fact with a handy graphic:
That’s a damn good reason to see this film in IMAX. Seriously, this graphic makes standard theatrical image look like a damn bootleg. In fact, I’m actually slightly upset by this news because now I feel I have to pay a premium in order to get the full experience. Great. Just great. Thanks IMAX.
