Tim Roth down for Arbitage

I have a fondness for Tim Roth as an actor. The reason? I loved his performance in Hoodlum giving us his portrayal of mobster Dutch Schultz, and I appreciated his appearance opposite Ed Norton in the Incredible Hulk. Today I’m happy to learn that he’s returning to the silver screen.

Tim Roth will be joining Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon and indie It Girl Brit Marling for Nicholas Jarecki‘s Arbitrage, about “a hedge fund magnate who is in over his head and desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire to a major bank before his fraud is revealed,” when “an unexpected, bloody error forces him to turn to the most unlikely corner for help.” Roth will be playing the part of homicide detective Michael Gower.

I like this news. I’m not a fan of his show “Lie to Me” as I just don’t like his supporting cast. I think this is a good opportunity to remind Hollywood that he’s still around. Looking forward to this one just for Roth.
