Even though every official press release and studio statement has only referred to Selina Kyle, Batman-News.com is running a video of Oprah interviewing Anne Hathaway, who refers to her role as, “Catwoman.”
Hathaway as Catwoman doesn’t work for me. She’s too “nice” and “sweet” looking. It’s like trying to cast Katie Holmes as a bad girl. But, casting is sometimes a surprising treat, as Michael Keaton once showed us playing in a certain other Batman film.
It’s fun to hear it accidentally confirmed that we’ll see not just Kyle, but Catwoman too.
