Seems that a casting call has gone out looking for a young actor to play Peter Parker in some flashback scenes which has people thinking his biological parents may make an appearance in the reboot!
Spider-Man reboot is looking for a child actor to play Peter Parker between the ages of six and nine for some flashback scenes that may or may not concern the fate of Richard and Mary Parker, the couple who actually created the boy who would be Spider-Man.
I often wonder why I have never cared at all about Peter Parker’s biological family. Clearly we are left to assume that Peter was left orphaned somehow and his Aunt May and Uncle Ben Parker were there to take care of him.
Interestingly enough, though I was not aware of it – in the regular Marvel Comics Richard and Mary Parker were CIA agents who were killed in the line of duty (by Red Skull no less). While in the Ultimates story, his father Richard was a biologist who’s experiments lead to the creation of the Venom Symbiot.
Speculation at Movies Online suggests that Richard and Mary Parker could be working with Dr Connors on something genetics that leads to the creation of both Spidey and The Lizard.
I’d buy that for a dollar.
spiderman most be in avenger`s movie
Maybe this is just some sort of flash back in time to where peter may have learned a lesson that got him thinking that being good is the way to go. This movie is focusing on story more than anything, basically showing all the problems in peters life and the balance of being spiderman. I just hope the actions as good as the story.
This movie just keeps sounding worse and worse.
Anybody else think this seems off?

the origin starts with teen Parker getting bit. done.
of course I’m sure during 25 yrs of runs that we get some more backstory like the “Untolds” BUT, Amazing Spiderman never really dug that deep in detail, so I guess it’s just a way to beef of the script going back over familiar ground and adding new layers. O.K. I guess with a normal story.
