Harry Potter Wraps Filming for the Last Time

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 has completed principal photography and calls it a wrap for the last time.

Obsessed with Film reports:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II finished filming on Saturday, director David Yates calling ‘cut’ for the last time on the series that has basically been in production for a decade.

Imagine being one of these child actors who basically will look back on making these films the same way you might look at going to school. They spent a DECADE making these movies and now its over.

I am sure the casual polite applause was bittersweet when they announced that they were done principal photography on not only this film, but the last of a long running franchise.

We are just gearing up for publicity now for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 that opens November 19th this year, and the second part for a big summer blockbuster in July 2011.

With the theme park opening I see little end to this franchise, even without films.

Perhaps one day there will be spinoffs featuring other sides to this amazing world Rowling has crafted. I’d love to see an Auror’s film.

  1. Can’t wait… It’s been a great ride watching these films. I love the whole thing about them going through adventures during the school years at Hogwarts…

  2. Im not a fan for this films at all. However it’s so impressive to see these little kids progress to actors in this DECADE of filming this movie. Also, something bad about this will be that it will be hard to see these young actors staring other movies. They will always be Harry, Hermaione (idk how tho speel that) and however the other kid is named. lol.
