If you have been living under a rock, you might want to check out BitchSlap.
The film is a throwback stylized film that America Olivo calls “a thinking man’s sexploitation film” and “grindhouse done right”
And this is the BEST interview I have seen yet for the flick. Kevin Pereira (G4’s Attack of the Show) gets to chat it up with America Olivo and Julia Voth.
Absolutely perfect how America’s blazer accidentally bursts open near the end there. They couldn’t have planned that better.
It was after this film that Julia Voth got a lead role in John Campea’s The Anniversary which is making the film fest circuits over the last year.
But this is hands down the best promotional interview ever. The girls are perfectly hot, and fun. Julia Voth is always distracting.
As if the trailer wasn’t enough to go see this movie, this interview put me over the top.
Here is the trailer in case you missed it:
The film will have limited theatrical release on January 8th, and on DVD shortly after.
It’s an exploitation film made by someone who has never seen one.
I saw this live yesterday, I love AOTS, and holy crap my jaw pretty much hit the floor after seeing the first clip before the interview.
Watch “Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!” instead. Now that is trash done properly.
The movie is repetitive. It’s fun to start, but the greenscreen flashbacks are terrible and it eventually gets really boring.
I’ve met a couple of the girls though and they are really cool.
yea i agree…i love the old trash flicks myself, but the effects, n terrible fights made it hard to watch
Although i fucking hate this movie’s vibe, and personally despise movies that have this look (even if this movie had a different look id still hate it, it looks so embarrassingly bad)
i would have to point out maybe they did this look on purpose. Its not bad CGI… its just a style.
I’m still high after watching the trailer.
I watched it before and had the same reaction.
