  4. Scarlett Johansson doesn’t fit the Black Widow character, she is supposed to be very tall, slim and dangerous. Johansson is none of those things. Emily Blunt is more suited for the character.

    And, Whiplash still looks silly and unintimidating. The costume is just weird/cheap looking, along with his weapon isn’t interesting and powerful enough. hopefully he will be better in the movie. Rourke looks old, tired, and worn-out. How can a guy with glowing whips fight a robot who can fly, shoot missles and bullets?

    1. haha well there’s always gotta be a nay-sayer. Even on an insanely AWESOME trailer such as this with an insanely AWESOME cast and production crew who showed their insanely AWESOME skills in the first movie. oh boohoo for you. :(

    2. dax, I share your concern (so, Bjon86, you can go around telling your little friends that there are two nay-sayers). Ironman could simply shot Whiplash in the face and that would be the end of it, I guess.

      Nevertheless, I keep my hopes us. Don’t take me wrong people, I liked the trailer…as someone else commented in another site, maybe that’s Whiplash’s prototype…

  5. I confess I have not read many Ironman comics, I was never a big fan of them, although the first movie was pretty good.

    From what the trailer shows, Whiplash does not convince me as the main villain. I searched some information about him and I understand that Whiplash is often (easily?) defeated by Ironman.

    The whips and the exposed torso seem no match against Ironman’s weapons. Any fan of Ironman comics who may want to kindly give his ideas on this?

  9. HELL YES, BRING IT ON!

    Just fantastic. Seeing Iron Man and War Machine, back to back blowing the shit out of everything around them, simply awesome.

    I can’t wait to see what the fight scenes are going to be like with Iron Man and Whiplash. That part where Whiplash cuts the race car in half with his whip is pretty sweet.

    Also the part in the trailer where Stark and Pepper Pots are on the plane and she gives his helmet a big kiss, then throws it out the back opening and says, “Go gett’em boss.” It seems more like something you’d see on the DVD gag reel. It’s pretty funny and I’m glad it looks like it’s actually meant to be part of the movie.

    Can’t wait for May.

  19. What happened to the Manderin? Was that the guy in the 1st movie that was the leader of the group the 10 rings. I thought he was going to be the villan. Not that Mickey as Whipelash plays a bad villan.

    2. That would have pissed off just about everybody else.

      I dont know if she’ll have much screen time anyway, what with all the villains plus the ones revealed in this very trailer.

      I think she’ll be relevant at the beginning of the movie, then shell make a bigger appearance at the very end (since she said shell play a role in The Avngers, I assume in the very end she’ll be in the conclusion, briefly. Along with Nick Fury)

      But im sure the core of the movie will revolve around Whiplash, Tony, War Machine and Justin Hammer.
