I don’t know how this escaped my notice, but there is a new family comedy from Disney that is likely to make squashes nervous.
John Travolta is back, this time with Robin Williams and the unlikely third Musketeer Seth Green. The story follows a pair of business partners who are also very close friends who’s lives are turned upside down when they are left to care for twin seven year olds.
Robin Williams hasn’t exactly been bank lately, but he seems to be his lovable self in this. I was surprised to see Seth Green in the trio of headliners here, and I would not have been upset at all if Tim Allen came along and made this Wild Hogs 2.
Maybe its my Daddy side, but this looks like some clean fun that the kids will love. I am actually looking forward to this.
if thats the best, the film can offer… oh my…
Seriously?
Usually I dig a lot of the movies that John likes, and there’s nothing wrong with kid movies having adult appeal, but this look like complete and total shit.
Then its a good thing John didn’t write this.
Thanks for reading.
My bad; I was reading via Google Reader and thought that it said that John was the author.
I was obviously wrong.
That said, I still think it looks like a turd, a la WILD HOGS.
Ugh.
Of course, I love DESPERADO, which is complete cheese, so to each his/her own.
I saw this trailer the other day on some dvd and I’m looking forward to it :)
I agree. It seems like a nice little family comedy and it looks like Seth Green is holding his own here.
