A new poster for Sanctum is online as well as the trailer.
I find it odd with the poster clearly name pimping Cameron. He is the Executive Producer, and his camera technology is being used, but its being directed by Alister Grierson.
Guess that name wasn’t big enough to draw attention to the project.
Check out the trailer while you are at it:

whose the director anyway? and i also agree that in the end everyone might die. like in “perfect storm”.
“Guess that name wasn’t big enough to draw attention to the project.”
If you have a new Franchise for a young medium, like 3D movies you better have some big name popping up in order to promote it. They somehow have to diversify from hastily post production crap 3D-movies like Clash of Titans.
The only resemblence I see with Cameron’s camera equipment is at the begining with the floating shit in the water(bubbles/BP product).
and whomever cast “Mr. Fantastic” , you know the “Im Reed Richards the guy who made Fantastic Four even more shitty with my wooden acting” Ian Golfold or whatever.
That alone will keep me from seeing this 127 hours/Abyss/The Decent/rock climbing, tunnel diving, Lame ass Cable T.V. movie.
and remember what happened when some other guy used his “tech” on a movie: We got the last Resident Evil fiasco.
“Tech” alone dont make the film-maker guys.
but I’ll reserve my opinion till I see this on Showtime at 1:30 AM
Blue seems to be a popular color for anything James Cameron
You expected underwater to be a different colour?
That’s like saying Carpenter’s colour is white because he filmed The Thing.
No, it’s not like that at all.
It’s pretty clear what Daniel means. Cameron has a lot of films with a “blue theme”: Avatar, Titanic, The Abyss, and now this.
Yea, also Aliens and Terminator 2 had lots of blue-tinged shadings in their cinematography.
Looks like one of those movies where everyone dies, lol. or everyone except the teenager dies, etc.
I hope they show underground fish or sharks or something cool along those lines.
But if not, the story on its own sounds kinda neat.
