A teaser trailer for Skyline is online, and I hadn’t heard anything at all about this movie until I tripped over the trailer. It looks like a District 9 level of effects without the glam and glitter of big Hollywood names attached to pump up awareness. Looks interesting so far.
The whole imagery with the spread out alien ships with giant “mouths” opening up with beams of light shining down made me anticipate a giant laser beam explosion. But instead it looks like the ships are eating up people and abducting en masse.
So while these mysterious lights descend on the City of Los Angeles, people run to the streets to get a first hand look at the alien invaders. But maybe they should have stayed inside!
Will have to wait and see about a full trailer to get the real scoop on this.
This movie sucked on a number of levels, its right up there with Cloverfield. I mean who the heck wrote this piece of crap!! everything was aweful.
anyway, how predictable is hollywood? if it’s not eurostile then it’s bank gothic, they have no other choice for sci-fi ish fonts.

That last shot of all those people getting sucked into that ship was creepy. Can’t wait.
Looks great and its definitely going on the Must-See list for November, despite the shamefully cheesy news footage dialogue at the beginning. “In other words… it didn’t turn out too well for the native americans.” That line completely pulled me out of the trailer for a moment. I can overlook it tho.

By the way that line and the people in the tv news on the trailer is real. I read an article about Stephen Hawking saying all this stuff. It’s really interesting.
Yeah, You can hear a sample of the sound fx used in the first Tranformers trailer. Keep in mind, Teaser trailers usually use temp sound fx and music.
was it me or did i hear a sound from “Transformers” it sounded like the screech made when the signal was sent out that they were hacking into “the files”
It looked fairly good, Im just curious to know who is in it, but still Ill wait until I see a full trailer
