The self professed huge Harry Potter Nerds at GamerVision have dissected every scene in the latest Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Trailer and they were kind enough to let me know it was online.
Its SPOILER HEAVY for both of you Harry Potter fans who haven’t read the books.
This trailer is for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows as one film. It will be presented in theaters in two installments, but so far the trailers and posters seem to be treating them as one film.
Its a spot on diagnosis of the scenes comparing it scene by scene to the books, and helping determine what parts will be in Part 1 and in Part 2.
Also noted was the complete lack of Crabbe (one of Malfoys minions) who was removed from the film altogether due to the actor’s very public drug charges.
Very detailed, and very interesting watch.
Just after the shot of Hermione and Ron at Shell Cottage (reacting to Dobby’s Death), there is a shot of a girl’s back as she walks down the middle of a street towards a building with a steeple or bell-tower. Thinking back, I can’t link that to anything from the book. The only guess I could come up with is that the girl is Hermione walking away from her home just after she confunded her parents so that they would move to Australia under different names.
I heard that they rebuilt the burrow for the wedding. I am not sure how they are going to explain away its destruction in the last film.
They have a 4 man tent that has an entire furnished living space inside of it, but rebuilding a home is a suspension of disbelief?
They just have to say they built it up again in time for the wedding. Maybe show it looking a little differently. Easy.
Well, yeah, obviously considering magic is involved. My point was more sarcastic because I felt that the destruction of the Burrow was totally unnecessary.
Well, we know the whole wedding scene will be removed because they destroyed the Burrow in the last film. I also predict the continuing absence of house elves and Doby. I also bet there will be no spiders in the finale battle.
The wedding scene wont be removed, but perhaps location changed. And Dobby is still a presence in the film just not the “house elves rights” side arc Hermoine was pursuing in the books.

I’m speculated of course. All of these things could very well be in the films…
