I am reminded of the great Jack Donaghy on 30 Rock who once stated that he considers himself an explorer “like Magellan or Dora” and I wondered why there is not a Dora the Explorer film out there. There is a story there ripe with adventure and discovery as well as lessons in basic Spanish.
And when you are adapting a TV show, the movie should go above and beyond the standard exploring Dora partakes. So I give you the trailer for Incepcion… Dora style! (Thanks to International Friend Amanda G for the tip!)
You can’t spell adorable without Dora and this girl looks exactly like the animated character. And I love how they cleverly tied in her catchphrases and audience participation.
