I think he looks the part 100% but I am not completely sold on the outfit. Its appropriate, but sometimes the image in your head never translates properly to reality.
This is still good to me, and I am even more encouraged to see this movie now that I finally see him looking the part with the long blond hair and even scruff.

Wow! i just saw Iron Man 2 and Wow! i wish Marvel could speed things up and give us Avengers already! Woohooo! Thor looks badass here, thats one awesome costume. I hope The Avengers is like a trilogy or something that would really kick ass!
He looks better that i could ever imagine.
I wasn’t realy excited about this movie, i never saw the character appealing, but the same thing happend to me with Ironman, and look him now, he is the coolest superhero in years…
So now my expectations for this movie went higher than any other superhero movie being made. So… when is the releasing date?

Super excited to see this guy play Thor. The few minutes he played DaddyKirk in Star Trek had me sold on the guy. I agree, he’s got the look down! But I’m not sold on the armor either. This dude is ripped though, he could go sleeveless.

Dude this looks awesome, you gotta remember this is before all the FX. This is looking to be going for a true to the spirit movie which is risky because all deviations become glaring but i am down for it because I view things for what they are and not what they are up against.
As far as how is being depicted in the comics currently, it’s almost an exact representation of thor and his armor. I hope they post one up of him wearing his helmet and also swing his mighty hammer around, that would be sweet!
well guys, Iron Man’s suit armor also looks like it’s made of plastic as you might have noticed, especially his mask/faceplate…
Well from what I see the suit looks ok, the picture isnt the greatest so I’ll have to wait for more.

Hemsworth looks great. But the outfit looks like a rubber one you’d buy for Halloween. Hopefully it’s just the angle.
I agree. It does look like rubber. I think they should lose the sleeves because in most versions it’s just his bare arms. Im torn over the beard. Traditonally, in the comics Thor doesnt have beard. In the mythology he does. The beard that is shown is not that bad because its noticeable but overly dominant.
The Cape is red, like in the comics people.
I think he needs to shave though.

I don’t know about this, the suit looks rather rubbery, even the metal portions look like rubber. Maybe they should have tried actual metal plates on chest and chain mail on arms. Also not enough grit and dirt. What’s up with that cape? I hope it does well though.
I trust Marvel. I’m sure it will all look fuckin great when its in the movie theater.
