I’ve met Megan Fox. I can tell you without any shadow of a doubt that she’s one of those rare Hollywood beauties that is actually MORE attractive in person that she is in pictures or on the screen. She’s flat out PORNO. I swear she walks in a room and you can hear wank guitar in the background. Unfortunately she also can’t act worth a spit. I swear if she could act even just a little bit, she’s be the queen of Hollywood.
Anyway, you remember last year there was some talk about Megan Fox possibly being in the running to be Wonder Woman. Well… those were just rumors, but damn she did look good in the outfit.
Well… not that it was ever going to happen anyway, but Megan Fox has pretty much slammed the door on any chance of seeing her in the golden head band calling Wonder Woman “lame”. From IMDB:
Fox is reportedly in the running to play the lead role, but the Transformer star is adamant she will not get involved with the comic book adaptation. She tells British magazine FHM, “She’s lame. She flies around in an invisible jet, but she’s not invisible. I don’t get it.”
If you’re a fan of Wonder Woman, this is very good news. If there was a studio stupid enough to give her this role, at least she’s taken the option away from them… thank goodness.
I know I sound harsh towards Fox, but she really is quite terrible. But hey… she’s still young… she’s getting to work with great people and maybe with the right training and coaching she could work her way up to mediocre or better some day?

ALL female superhero movies suck because the studio is more interested in how slutty they can make the outfit and how many gratuitous titty and ass shots they can squeeze into the movie rather than actually building a compelling character. Have you noticed that just about all badass women you see in film (Ripley, Sarah Connor, The Queen from 300, The Bride) aren’t paraded about as mere sex objects? They actually have, I dunno, thoughts, feelings, and goals other than banging the male lead and prancing about in next to nothing so the audience can have a collective wank. Stupid fucking movies with stupid fucking women not only repel me away from the theater, they piss me the fuck off, and believe me, I’m not in the minority. I’m sick of this shit! Women have more to offer than their titties, and until these fucking actresses put their feet down and until Hollywood fucking wakes up to this fact, we’re gonna keep getting Catwoman, Elektra, Ultraviolet, Aeon Flux, and this horeshit.

The animated movie Wonder Woman was awesome. Wonder Woman is a 2009 direct-to-video animated film focusing on the superheroine Wonder Woman Directed by Lauren Montgomery and Produced by Bruce Timm. The plot of the movie is based loosely on George Perez’ reboot of the character, specifically the “Gods and Mortals” arc that started the character’s second volume back in 1987. If they can do one similar to the live action it would be one interesting film.
I am glad she didn’t except the role BECAUSE SHE CAN’T ACT… Though she is really hot and I would bang the hell out her like a porn star, lol. I think we need a high caliber actress with the presence of someone who portrays a goddess both mentally and physically in spirit. I would like to see a live action movie that is similar to that of the origin story seen int the most recent animated movie of Wonder Woman….That was like the best movie and representation of her character….It did Wonder Woman some justice about her origin and the surrounding mythology. I for the first time admired the character. I hope Warner Brothers adapts this film with care just like the dark night.

I admit that Fox is not the greatest actress, but compared to Jessica Alba she is like a fine Bordeaux vs Wine Coolers.
Alba is much worse and she is very arrogant to boot, which Fox is not at all. So why all the hating on Fox? Alba does crap project after project, cannot act to save her life and yet everyone seems to look past that cause she is so pretty.
I don’t understand the absolute adoration guys have for this actress. Sure she’s attractive but let’s see a more substantial body of work before we start claiming she’s the next Angelina Jolie (yes I’ve heard that claim). Looking at IMDB, she’s only really made her mark with Transformers. She could end up being the next Jessica Alba. Eeesh…
As for WW, if she is handled correctly, the character can be quite engaging – for example Bruce Timm’s animated WW from the Justice League was terrific.
I want the women to play the part to have some meat on her bones. Fox is cute and all, but she doesn’t have the extra curves.
Well there you go people, Christian Bale as Batman, Brandon Routh as Superman, Chris Pine as Green Lantern, and Megan Fox as Wonder Women. :-P

I always thought “the invisible jet” would be more like a modified stealth bomber given an adaptation. Or has a Star Trek-y cloaking device.
As much as I dig Megan Fox, it seems she’s loaded up on comics related properties, not counting the Transformers films. I actually can see her attempting other roles in other genres, or do more raunchy screwball comedies (where she mildly pokes fun at herself) in How To Lose Friends and Alienate People.

The thought of Megan Fox as a female lead makes me shutter. Nope, she’s beautiful and seems to be a super sweet person, but she’s better as eye candy. I’d like to see her become an actress, but that will be up to her and how serious she really is about acting.

But Wonder Woman and Fox are not a good match. They make a great poster, but that’s about as far as it goes.
Missy Peregrym should be the next Wonder Woman, love her in Reaper and she has a soft but athletic build which would compliment the Wonder Woman character. Its hard to find a woman that can pull off both soft and feminine and also athletic, Missy has it all. She would have to die her hair, not a big deal really.
