Two New Terminator Salvation Posters Online

Rotton Tomatoes has two new Terminator Salvation Posters to share with us. One really great, and one really bad!

The left poster looks like it was fan made. Floating head crap. Yeah we get it. Worthington and Bale and a naked Terminator. Funny thing is that the one on the right says exactly the same thing, but says SO MUCH more. Worthington and Bale fighting back to back with the looming threat of the Termniator always present.

So much better.

Enbiggened versions are at Rotton Tomatoes

  1. These posters do their jobs but I jsut feel to grown up to like them. If I was 14 I would want these on my bedroom wall but at 28 they seem childish.

  2. I like the second one much more. God I cant wait for this movie. It looks fantastic. BTW if you guys havent been watching the show… stop whatever your doing and go to HULU NOW!

    1. Are you sure it’s non canon? I thought it was in some ways supposed to tie in with the movie. I mean other than the show being used as a promotion for the movie.

As for the poster nothing special. Either of them.

    2. I guess it does not matter. The show has been canceled according to some other sites. Oh well it was a good series while it lasted. Another good show bites the dust.

    3. The writers and producers of the Television series have already stated that the show is considered non-canonical to give them more freedom with storylines and concepts.

The entire premise of the TV show is that Terminators from the future are coming back in time frequently to set up store houses and basically making sure they invent themselves.

The head of the computer AI company that becomes SkyNet in the show is currently being run by a T2000 which is reverse engineering a T800 they captured.

Makes no sense with the movies. Hell it kind of doesn’t make sense with the TV show, but we are running with it because its entertaining.

    4. Rodney, you may be wrong about Shirley Manson’s character (T1000) and purpose, watch the finale. Don’t want to spoil it, but it’s quite a twist.

  3. well i always think its funny when people look at movie posters and try to figure out what the artist as thinking…me i can care less….movie posters imo are there for 4 things…

    1. who is in it
    2. what type of movie (action, romance, comedy etc)
    3. Name of the movie
    4. when it comes out

you guys look to far into the poster IMO
Sure it could be all that u guys say but w/e

  4. Not a big fan of either, but if I had to choose one to hang some where I would have to go with the second.

(P.S. On a side not, the Terminator T.V. series has totally redeemed itself in the past couple episodes. The season finale was pure insanity.)

    1. Jeremy,
I agree I like the second 1 also.

The finale rocked Friday night! But the show is in danger of being cancelled by Fox. Final word of renewal comes out some time between end of April to
middle of May. I hope Salvation gives it some momentum.

  5. The left poster means nothing? Oh come on. Each head merges into the other? We already know the film will deal with blurring the barriers between man and machine. This is a much more clear message than “OMG the terminator’s behind you!!”.

    1. Sorry… not at all what I got from that first poster.

Blurring the barriers between man and machine? Yeah, one is human, the other two are machines. Blur.

I see what you are getting at, but the poster doesn’t say that to me.
