One of my favourite things online is webcomics. Many of which focus on popculture and video games. So I thought I would share with you a strip that made me lawl. It is written by Aaron Willams, most famous for his Nodwick strips. His Full Frontal Nerdity (rpg gaming) and Backwards Compatible(video gaming) strips are equally as funny.
Crispy Gamer hosts the aforementioned Backwards Compatible, and today they address the growing concern that the release of Grand Theft Auto IV on consoles would cut into the Boxoffice profits for IronMan.

Okay. I just got home from seeing Iron Man.

Believe the hype. It’s fucking fantastic.
Ugh Speed Racer. Just watching the trailer gave me a headache. The whole movie would give me a brain hemorrhage.
Just got back from my “lunch hour” where I bought GTA IV. I usually do not go to the movie theater (I have a dollar theater here where I see movies months later), but you can guarantee that I will be at the expensive theater on Friday to see Iron Man.
Rock Band is pretty addictive.
About the only reason I won’t be seeing Iron Man on opening night is the crowd.
I’d just much rather not have to wait for a while just to get into a movie that I can see a day or two later with all of my buds.
Of course all of the time surrounding that will be spent playing GTA IV, Mario Kart Wii and the occasional shot or twelve as we DJ the local club.
I picked up GTA today and have to be honest…as crazy as this sounds I am finding it pretty boring to be honest. That has more to do with the fact that I finally got rock band on saturday and can’t shake it…..
Sux for Ironman… I feel bad for robert downey jr. finally his big break, and it gets saddled alongside the biggest game release this year.

yeah, gta4 is gonna take up all of my freetime this week… but my “going to the theatre to see a movie” days are over…ill wait to see it in my home theatre.
I’ll admit that i’m not willing to leave my copy of gta iv for the 3ish hours it would take to go see ironman. I will see the movie, just not immediately

In 15 minutes I am leaving to my local GameStop to pick up my GTA4 copy.(man i loving being able to reserve things…) And I already have my tickets to the earliest showing of Iron Man. Also I picked up some “mood enhancers”(WINK WINK[man im retarded]). Its gonna be a great week.
As a side note off topic if I may indulge… Rodney, I am appreciating your posts more and more. I can admit a few years ago I didnt really like your posts in general, nothing against you, mind you.(dam, bad grammer) But it wasnt my cup of tea. I would come here mostly to read John’s posts and listen to Doug. But my friend, I dont know if youre more comfortable doing this or just aging like a good whisky, YOU are making me into a fan.(oye, grammer) Keep it up…
