I have been waiting eagerly for ‘The Strangers’, since I first saw the yellow band teaser trailer for this film last summer. The release date for the movie kept getting pushed back and horror fans like myself were losing all hope. Thankfully, the film was set a final release date only a couple of months away.
The horror film is about a couple (Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman) who have the most terrifying night of their lives as they are being terrorized by three unknown masked assailants in their cottage.
If you have watched the French horror film, Ils (‘Them in English) you will notice very striking similarities. (In fact the film looks like an unofficial remake of ‘Ils’ to be quite honest)

What a nice looking trailer….but I have to agree with Spagett…the teaser trailer was more frightening….seeing the final image with them standing above them….and the line “You’re going to die.” So scary!
The teaser trailer was a lot better. Still want to see it tho. Looks like an actual good horror film which doesn’t come often.
OMG I knew nothing of this movie until now and I’m total going to see it.
Cool, they bumped it up, it was slated for Aug 29th at the beginning of the year.
It looks creepy enough, but I didn’t have a “wow” I need to see that moment.

I am totally hyped for this film. I have not been this creeped out by a trailer for a very looooong time.

And Liv Tyler is hot. I would tend to lean toward hawt even. But I am a grown man. Mostly.
