First ‘Wolverine’ Pic

The first official picture of Hugh Jackman dressed as ‘Wolverine’ has hit the net, and although it’s not a still from the movie, it’s most definitely him.

Reelcollectibles gives us this pic:

Yeah, I know it’s not much to look at. His trademark “a munchkin from Wizard of Oz is my barber” hair do is slicked back, but he is wearing a very familiar jacket. (Look closely)  This picture is just a reminder that the film is in fact underway.  I wish I could give you more details, but they’ve been pretty tight lipped about this upcoming film. This will have to do for now.

So are you excited to see X-Men Origins: Wolverine hit theatres on May 1st, 2009?

  1. Thats actually not even from the filming of the movie. Thats just him hangin around. Just did some water rafting I believe. But still, looks awesome. should be a great movie.

  2. @kristina

The Prestige. Pleasant surprise he was in that for me. Mainly because the previews made it look like Christian Bale’s character was the bad guy. However, Jackman’s character seemed to be the eviler of the two. And how much better can it get than to work with someone like Christopher Nolan?

  3. You know, as much as I like this guy and fantasize about him using the claws to tear my clothes off, you gotta admit that he hasn’t exactly set the world on fire with his roles outside the X-Men franchise. The guy is wicked talented, but he just can’t seem to find a role that emcompasses his vast talents and endless charisma. Come on, Van Helsing? Swordfish? Kate and Leopold? You can do better than that, Hughie.

BTW, I was at Blockbuster this wekeend and loaded up on used DVDs(got the 2-disc Pan’s Labyrinth DVD for 9 friggin’ bucks! Recognize!). I got The Prestige, so I’ll watch that and see if Hugh’s any good in it.
