It looks like a week after Routh piped up about interest in a Justice League movie, Bale has decided to follow suit. We get the following skinny from out friends at FILMWAD:
In a recent interview with IGN, Bale spoke about the possibility of a Justice League movie. Will it happen? The short answer is “maybe.” Damn. These Hollywood types are so very sneaky. Check out Bale’s own words right here:“It’s like I was saying to Chris [Nolan] – I’ll be probably doing this in dinner theater somewhere in my 50s, so I won’t knock it. Because who knows where I’ll end up?”
I have said it before and I will say it again. If we can get Bale and Routh together in this film it will be fantastic for the separate franchises as well as this project. Having both these beefy fellas in the tights as much as possible is a good financial move as far as I am concerned. This time do not reduce the Routh!
We have a lot of superhero movies being released, and I do not really care. I love the genre and as long as the movies are good I hope they keep pumping them out. As of late it looks like the quality has been dropping a bit, and I hope this trend stops. Iron Man certainly is looking to be fantastic, and I hope Thor follows suit as the tale of the thunder god is now on deck to be made.
I’ll take JLA or WF. I am fine with Bale and Routh teaming up but who gets the other parts? Suggestions…

I think Bale wanting to do a JLA movie, anytime in the future, will be awesome. But, as far as Superman goes, i still don’t think we’ve gotten just the right actor for the role. I mean, while Routh is a good Chris Reeve clone, i still want WB to come up with a totally new actor who’d give us a whole different portrayal of Superman, instead of a carbon copy of the 70’s version.
As for the rest of the Leaguers…well, i’d also want em to get just the RIGHT actor for each role.
