  1. Wow why do you all care ’bout bashing MTV, why don’t you go live at home in your mothers’ basements… good luck getting a date to prom,

  2. No offense, but these awards aren’t and shouldn’t be taken seriously…it’s a chance for the little people to win. This ain’t the oscars, y’all.

  3. Not too much to say about the winners except for BEST ON-SCREEN TEAM. What were they thinking? Not that it matters much but “Wedding Crashers” was a total disappointment! The guys of “40 Year Old Virgin” should have taken that one. They were just toooooo funny.

  4. now we all know why these films are getting nominated. mtv want to give awards to movies and actors that oscar voters and the film academy would never even consider giving awards to. mtv obviously nominates movies the opposite way the oscars do. all the action-packed, blockbuster movies, packed with star power, and made a bunch of money, are gonna be at the mtv movies awards. hey if steve carrell never gets an oscar statue, at least he can say he got a tub of golden popcorn for best comedic performance for 40-year-old-virgin.

  5. Jennifer Carpenter!

    Hip!Hip!Hooray!
    Hip!Hip!Hooray!

Then again, when your competition is Paris Hilton and Dakota Fanning, you would have it pretty much locked down, right? But…Jen’s going to be a face to watch in the near future. It would not surprise me in theleast if Joss Whedon approached her for Wonder Woman.

And speaking of Joss. Let’s look at Best fight. This is where MTV messed up. Yes, I liked “Transporter 2” and all, but come on! “Serinty” Summer Glau vs. everybody! Come on! And considering theSmiths beat out Kong and Star Wars, thinks are truly rotten in Denmark.

Now, while I’d love to smack talk MTV as much as humanly possible, I got to say…
Wedding Crashers and 40 Year Old Virgin finally won something!

  6. Further proof that all kids are gonna grow up stupid and kill cinema. MTV is nominating Underworld Evolution, Deuce Bigalow, Dukes Of Hazzard, Fantastic Four AND Paris Hilton for awards? Holy fuckin’ shit.

  7. Ok first off no way in hell was Angelina Jolie vs. Brad Pitt better then Ewan McGregor vs. Hayden Christensen. Thats total bullshit. And King Kong taking on the T-Rex’s was way better then him taking on the planes. Rob Schneider in the sexy performace is hilarious.

  8. Why did they combine male and female performance? Not cool. Can you imagine if they combined them at the Oscars? The gals wouldn’t stand a chance. The males usually get the better parts. Compare this year’s male and female Oscar winners. Reese Witherspoon versus PHILLIP SEYMOUR MOTHAFUCKING HOFFMAN. Come on.
