Found this great little (and short) video interview with Jon Voight where he talks a bit about The Transformers movie. It’s a nice little chat, and Voight is pretty funny.
In the interview Jon gives away the following stuff:
#1) He is playing the Secretary of Defence
#2) He is one of the few people who has actually read the script
#3) Security is so tight around this project that EVEN HE had to be watched by security when reading the script. He doesn’t have his own copy.

I recently informed the boys (my partner and his buddies) that this was a go and they were so thrilled that they haven’t stopped talking about it. It’s like they’re 12 again.

Although im only fifteen, i actually grew up watching some of the old transformers episodes, and for years I was absolutely thrilled with them and to add to that joy a good family friend also had many of the dvd seasons who loved them as a kid and I watched em and became a huge fan. Now, although this is transformers and it is one of my most anticipated movies,but I am curious as to why exactly they would have such tight security over this movie, seeing as how its based on great but still really cheeseball stuff, but then again I don’t know too much about the script so who knows it could be freaking amazing. heres hoping
