Mission Impossible 4 In Japan?

Mission Impossible 3 hasn’t come out yet, and already Tom Cruise is talking a little about Mission Impossible 4 (which actually isn’t a bad idea). The good folks over at M&C had this to say about where Cruise wants to film his next installment of the MI series:

Tom Cruise says Japan would make an ideal location for ‘Mission: Impossible 4.’ Cruise told Japanese reporters in Los Angeles he already had a script in mind for the next installment in the franchise and would like it to be set in Tokyo

Hmmm… I actually like the idea… a LOT. But here’s the question I have for you guys…

It looks like Cruise’s publicity people… and the head honchos over at the good ship Scientology have got Cruise to shut his mouth for a while now. The question is: Has he shut up long enough for Mission Impossible 3 to be judged on it’s merits?

I remember a few months ago I thought Mission Impossible 3 would bomb because so many people were really put off by Tom Cruise. But when you think about it… we haven’t really heard anything from the short one in a long time… and people don’t seem to be talking about how much he bugs them anymore. So has it worked? Has he shut up long enough for you to give MI:3 a fair shake? Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

  1. Well i’ve seen nearly all of Tom Cruise’s film’s and all the mission impossible’s movie’s, but my favorite film with witch iv’e seen Tom as the first actor is “The last sammurai” or “Vampire cronicle’s” with Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas, lovely film. Well i would certainly like to see Tom in the next mission imposs. 4 in the shoes of Nethan Hunt and why not give Brad Pitt a part too, but not Nethan Hunt but maybe as his enemy?
Well Tom is surely one of my favourite’s, so well done Tom, but if you really need a new actor for Mission Imposs. 4 why don’t you try with Jean Claude Van Damm, he surely is a kind of a tough guy isn’t he, people would surely appreciate him. Well he surely is without doubt my N.1 actor in action movie’s! Well done Claude…..

  3. I liked tome cruise in all three mission impossibles but I would love to see brad pitt do mission impossible number 4. If youve seen MR and MRS. Smith then you know what a good spy he was in that movie. I say let brad try out as the new ageant and see what people think.

  4. tom was ,is & will cotinue all the impossible flicks …thinkin about someone else as the protagnist, really makes me freak out ..
no one can out do tom.

  5. Oh i loved every movie tom cruise has been in and he is my idol. hes the best actor ive ever seen and he is very good at it. Also my dad looks like him. (:

  6. I think Tom should pull himself together and bring his caree back in action. I think he is HOT!!!! So who cares about what relgion he is,last time I cheked this was America and we are saposed to have freadom of relegion. And the media should leave him alone. I loved M:I:III it was awsome. And he is one of the only actors to do their OWN stunts. No matter the risck. And if they use Brad Pitt for M:I:4 I’M NOT going to whatch it because I HATE Brad Pitt he stinks!!!! I hope paramount will rehire him because they should relise how that is going to afect the ratings and the fans are going to be realy mad(including me). So that whould be a mistake on their part. And since Tom is a producer he could stop them from making M:I:4 or not help and all his(awsome)ideas would be forever lost from such a great movie.Thats all I have to say except for the fact that I LOVE TOM CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. all i have to say is that this movie was GREAT!!!!!! everything in it was great also but i really will wait for part 4 of this series and hope that it comes out soon cause im gonna watch it like to pirates of the carribean 2!!

  8. tom is the best, tom is tom, imw aitin for sequel of 3 in part 4…
tom cruise is the best and hottest actor ever…
too bad he doesnt has got an oscar award yet…
but there’s saying, not every1 is lucky to get prize for what they are good with, but atleast the people realize what they are good with…
    nothing can beat tom cruise…

  9. tom cruise is a mad cunt,

    he is the best actor,
    he is the best man,

he has the best frign hair styles and height.

if i catch u dissn him i will come over your house and stab u in the right lung

  10. I think the media gives Tom Cruise too much of a hard time. That said, I thought there was a bit of the MI:3 trailer that was awesome. The bit were the explosion knocks Tom against the car. It’s about time an explosion didn’t lead to people doing backflips on little trampolines.

I’ll wait for weekly DVD before I see MI:3. I despise the whole franchise. In the first movie they killed off all the other characters. Why does Hollywood do that crap?

You don’t make a movie about the Red Sox, kill off everyone but the umpire and call it Red Sox: The Movie. I’d hate to see what they’d do with the Care Bear license. Would it consist of Arnold Schwartznegger gunning down grizzlies because his wife and kids got mauled by a koala in a zoo? If they wanted their own version of James Bond they should have just made their own.

  11. I agree Tom

He shuts up when he wants, and he has definetely shut himself up, barely a peep, why? Because this isn’t Tom Cruise acting in a Speilberg film, this is Tom Cruise the producer acting in his own film.

Which is kind of a shitty thing to do, I mean, its all about him and his entitlement to an opinion when Spielberg is trying to launch a summer tent pole, but when it’s his ASSets on the line he plays it all cool.

Shame on you Mr. Cruise, come on, do something freaking nutty…..do it.

  12. Even with people being put off by him….it’s Tom Cruise. He’s gonna draw a crowd. And number two, the fact that Phillip Seymour Hoffman is THE VILLAIN (Hell Yeah!) is gonna be big for people (and me). Especially since he just won a best actor Oscar.

He (was) one of the most under-rated actors out there and to see him playing a villain gets me excited to see this film.
