So Fox released the final trailer for Hitman: Agent 47 and the question that’s undoubtedly on everyone’s mind is “Is this trailer Elite”. The answer may vary for different people. This movie happens to be an adaptation of a video game franchise and fans looking forward to these kinds of films, (the poor souls), are sadly too often quickly met with disappointment when that movie based on a videogame hits theaters. Heck, non-fans of the video game franchise are often met with disappointment as well with few films, with the exception of the Tomb Raiders, reaching any sort of level of notoriety or success. Looking at this latest Hitman trailer I can’t help but have serious reservations that this latest film will buck the trend.

Granted this seems like a slightly better than average action film but aside from films like The Expendables franchise I personally don’t walk into a theater hoping for something just like this… with that said, when something like that is finally made for home release then it’s a completely different story. I may not want to fork up the incredibly rising NYC movie theater ticket cost for this but when it comes to a much more manageable, and comfortable, home release a-la on-demand then I can schedule an appropriate time and setting to enjoy this film for what it is. Murder porn.
So yeah, I can’t wait for the home release.
