Christopher Nolan is a director known for his eye for detail. He re-imagined Batman in a way that redefined the character, brought us thought-provoking films such as Memento and Inception, and now we have another preemptively established Nolan masterpiece to look forward to with the upcoming film Interstellar. While there has only been a glimpse into what the film may be through a variety of teasers, we now have a full length trailer that provides many more details regarding the premise of the film. Well some theories were correct regarding the plot. It turns out that the film will be about the search for a new inhabitable planet due to our own depletion of resources. The premise seems interesting enough for me to be excited but I’m hoping for a good balance between the actual space journey and the development of the necessity leading to that journey. McConaughey should generate some buzz for the film given his latest Best Actor win and of course Christopher Nolan’s name provides a highly probable entertainment factor. I’m looking forward to this film and can’t wait to see it!
