You guys may have heard a while ago but there won’t be any Avengers in Iron Man 3, which is the next film to be released in Marvel’s cinematic universe. Well ok, no Avengers, what about S.H.I.E.L.D.? or Nick Fury? They won’t be in Iron Man 3 either so some rather intelligent person saw fit to just ask Sam Jackson when we’ll see him next and believe or not the dude answered:
I think my next time as Nick Fury is in Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” said the actor, “because I’m not in Iron Man 3. None of the Avengers are in Iron Man 3. It’s a standalone Iron Man movie.”
In case you lost track, Thor: The Dark World releases after Iron Man 3 so he’s implying he won’t be in that film either. Sorry everybody, gonna be a while before we see Sam ‘badass’ Jackson as Nick Fury again for a while… unless Marvel changes their plans. They tend to do that and I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re keeping information “close to the chest”.
