With Transformers 3 already starting to film, Bay is still adding cast members. And now it seems that McDreamy himself – Patrick Dempsey – will have a dark role, and possibly even Jamie Kennedy?
Dempsey recently did an interview with a Brazilian website, telling them (rough translation): “I start filming ‘Transformers 3’ later this month. I will play a character who is much darker than the others.”
Kennedy, meanwhile, chatted with 98KUPD Arizona radio station, stating: “I had an interesting interview with the people behind the new ‘Transformers’ movie and I may have a role in the movie.”
Dempsey I could see being a saavy government agent or something, but I expect if Jamie Kennedy is in this, he will play his normal dorky goofy self. That’s the only reason he gets hired.
But they are again hiring more humans. Bring on the bots – not as many bots, but quality bot on bot action with a better story. Please?

Why are there more human characters than the bots ? The fans want to see more of their favorite Autobot or Decepticon Transformer and not these guys. Jaime Kennedy? he’s gonna ruin the movie.

I heard Patrick Dempsey was just delivering a pizza with “extra anchoives” to the set, and not actually acting in it
