The release date for the yet to be titled Star Trek sequel will be pre-4th of July weekend of June 29, 2012. Good thing, 6 months later and we will all be dead. Not much is known yet other than revealing most of the cast is anticipated in the return.
I would LOVE to see Khan return in the sequel, however, since they established a new time line, I do not know if that is possible.

Nero could have been cool if they had explored his character more. I hate relying on extended universes, but really, reading the supplemental comic book that was released before the movie really is what develops his character. *pushes glasses back up bridge of nose*
I would like see a new unknown villain and one better than Nero, who was weak.

Since Khan was born and put to sleep long before Kirk was born and the timeline changed it is safe to assume that he will be still drifting in space and thus it is quite possible for him to be in it. However, he will be the younger Khan seen in the original series.
