House Bunny Trailer Online

The House Bunny, starring Anna Faris is being produced by Columbia Pictures and today we caught wind of a trailer online.

ComingSoon.net says:

In the film, Playboy Bunny Shelley Darlington (Faris) is living a carefree life until a rival gets her tossed out of the Playboy Mansion. With nowhere to go, fate delivers her to the sorority girls from Zeta Alpha Zeta. Unless they can sign a new pledge class, the seven socially clueless women will lose their house to the scheming girls of Phi Iota Mu. In order to accomplish their goal, they need Shelley to teach them the ways of makeup and men; at the same time, Shelley needs some of what the Zetas have – a sense of individuality.

Its the Simple Life crossed with Clueless and Legally Blond!

And with the exception of the Simple life, I liked them all! Two out of three aint bad, so I would likely give this a chance just to see if it has any of the charm and wit of Legally Blond (the first one was pretty good) and Clueless (best Silverstone Movie ever).

Yeah, I know I totally sound like a girl right now, but admit it, a movie with eyecandy and good humour is a light fluffy afternoon at the movies well spent. That and I just really find something appealing about Anna Faris.

The trailer has some good moments, and it is likely to be everything you expected. But maybe it will be different. Or not.

  1. Rodney

She does become more like them…She picks up a book to win her date over.

These movies have been done to death already. You’d think with the creative minds that reside in La La Land, they could write an original story more than once a year! Come on…

  2. You know, perhaps the story will have her change them into versions of herself, and as she changes to be more like them and they change to become more like her, they may find a common ground where they take some of the better qualities of each other.

There may be a bigger message here than just conform to succeed. I would wager that each of them will find their own self value once they see how conforming so completely doesn’t help all that much.

    It could happen.

  3. Brendan, as I mentioned in the article, this may be terrible, but it looks like light fluffy chick flick crap.

People love makeovers. Someone will watch this. It wont win an Oscar.

Its also movie news that I felt like sharing, and I stated my opinion on it. In case you hadn’t noticed. Thats what we do here.

    Just sayin.

  4. Oh god. “She changes their style”. Who the fuck wants to be one of them?

    Seriously.

Another “Lets all conform because *tee-hee* isn’t that just great?”
God, that makes me want to punch infants.

We need positive non-stereotype role models, both male and female. Where are the non-shitheads who come in to turn a situation around with understanding AND hilarity?

We need more Juno-like realism in our unrealistic situations, less fucking bullshit. Hey Hollywood, how about you have some cultural awareness, eh guys? Lets start to produce films with positive rather then detractive role models. Wait, what’s that I hear calling? The Money Train? Oh snap.

Don’t go see this mind altering stereotype enforcing, horrible waste of space, and… read a book?

  5. i saw this movie at a test screening and it BLEWWWW i love anna but this movie was a disgrace to her. she is so hilarious but this movie didddddnt show that. and they changed the title and release date like 10 times. not a good sign. sorry to get anyones hopes up lol
