Considering I just read the book this movie is based off, I can already tell the movie is staying pretty close to the source material. Let me tell you, if the movie is anything like the book, be prepared for some nauseating and gory moments that you will make you wish you could forget. Yeah, you can tell from the trailer alone, that some characters get infected differently.
Not to spoil too much, but Scott Smith (who penned the original novel) has switched up the fates of various characters. For instance, while Eric is “infected” in the book, it’s a different person in the movie, and so on.
