Yes yes… if you ask just about any movie geek on the planet who the worst working film director is today (or in history perhaps), most… if not all of them with say in one united voice, “Uwe Boll”. And they have good reason to do so. And when we first heard about his new movie Postal, a film that mocks the events of 9/11, it looked like that geek mockery would turn into a full fledged cultural wide murderous disdain.
But wait a second… hold the phone… weather reports are proclaiming snowflakes in hades… there are some respectable critics out there who are actually saying Postal is “brilliant”. Yes… you read that right. A Uwe Boll film that is actually good. The first one I came across was my friend Todd over at Twitch film… but since him I’ve read a couple of others. Could Postal actually be a “good” movie? Seems too hard to believe.
At any rate… there is a new Postal trailer out now. I have to admit I love the tag line at the end of it “Offending Everyone Soon”.
If this movie is any good at all, it will be the Seventh Sign of the Apocalypse…..
dont care what everyone said about the game, i fucking loved it. i hope the movie wont let me down. is gary coleman making a cameo? that’d be great!
Saw this 2 weeks ago at a screening with Uwe himself. Want a review?
i believe it when I see it..if I see it..
I like the star, he was great on the Titus tv show years ago.
Eh, a couple of parts had me half giggling. Maybe when it’s out on DVD and I’m drinking my friends we’ll give it a shot.
Sorry… this still looks terrible to me.
It looks as good as Skid Marks trailer does… Still a filler movie…
As far as a Uwe Boll trailer goes, it doenst seem that bad… But, as far as a funny spoof movie goes, it looks mediocre at best. I really didnt even laugh once. Althouse i kinda grinned at one or two parts.
I predict John will rate this movie a 4 out of 10. Which WILL INDEED be Uwe’s highest rated film on this site!
Looks terrible, dunno why people are actually WANTING to see it. Then, on top of that, it’s Uwe Boll so you know it’s gonna be bad…
