I’m getting more and more excited about seeing “Lady In The Water“. The newest trailer totally changed my perceptions of the film (in a VERY good way) and could be the redemption of M. Night after that horrid train wreck known as “The Village”.
Not quite sure what “Lady in the Water” is about? Here’s a quick synopsis form the good people at IMDB:
Apartment building superintendent Cleveland Heep (Giamatti) rescues what he thinks is a young woman from the pool he maintains. When he discovers that she is actually a character from a bedtime story who is trying to make the journey back to her home, he works with his tenants to protect his new friend from the creatures that are determined to keep her in our world.
On the heals of the new trailer, this new poster has come out… and I just LOVE it! Awesome. This one is really shooting to the top of my must see list. Hope MNS comes back with a vengeance.
I’ll admit the posted looks great but I’m still not sold. There’s just something about this movie that doesn’t appeal to me which is a bit bizzare because I like Shyamalan’s other movies and the premise looks great but there’s something nagging at me that I can’t put my finger on.
