Do you want to write for The Movie Blog?

Hey Everyone,

Anthony here and I’m curious about your input. I’ve been with The Movie Blog a little over 4 years now and throughout that time I’ve prided myself on how I was given the opportunity to carry the torch. Now, to be clear, I’m not going away but rather I’m wondering if there are any of you out there that would like the opportunity to share your opinion. It was through a post, just like this one, that I was afforded my first opportunity to share my opinion on all things film related and I cherish the experiences that I’ve had since joining the site. I’d like to continue the tradition of offering aspiring writers the opportunity to join on with TMB and allow the opportunity to share your thoughts with an established audience.

I take the idea of adding writers very seriously and would love to know if you are passionate about writing. We are looking to offer a couple of individuals the chance to share their thoughts in reviews, features, and daily chit chat about the entertainment world. We are looking for folks who may be interested in writing about both film and… TELEVISION. Yes, we are even looking for folks passionate about sharing their thoughts on their favorite television shows. If this is you, feel free to drop us a line. We will ask that you have some writing samples available and explain why it is you are interesting in joining the site. There are some perks to writing for a site like TMB and now is your chance if you think this may be a good home for you.

Writers in the LA, UK, or AU areas will likely receive preference. I will be accepting submissions until via e-mail until Sunday November 15th and will reply to folks accordingly. Please be patient as I already receive a ton of e-mail and it may take some time before I get a chance to write back. Feel free to ask any Q’s.

Thanks again everyone for enjoying TMB and good luck!
