This is a savvy marketing move from Paramount Pictures. January saw a dismal showing for movie features aimed at men such as Broken City, The Last Stand, and Parker which all belly flopped at the box office. There were just too many male targeted products in the market place. The collaboration with WWE will bring additional brand awareness to the products. Fox did a similar thing last month when they hosted the Yippee Ki Yay Post-Game Show after an NFL Championship Game to promote the new Die Hard movie. With this new promotion, as well as their involvement in producing Dead Man Down and The Call, WWE will enter the ring of promoting feature films.
