Walken, Rourke and Rockwell join Farrel in Dark Comedy ‘Seven Psychopaths’

Christopher Walken, Mickey Rourke and Sam Rockwell have joined the cast of dark comedy Seven Psychopaths, from writer/ director Martin McDonagh, who also wrote/ directed In Bruges. They join previously cast Colin Farrel, who also starred in In Bruges.
Geek Tyrant

Farrell plays a struggling screenwriter who gets drawn into a strange world of dog kidnapping by his two friends (Rockwell and Walken). Rourke will play a tough gangster whose beloved dog is among those that have gone missing.

This has me rather excited! I hadn’t realised Martin McDonagh was making a new film, and this just sounds great. I love each of the actors named above, and with a McDonagh script it should be fantastic! In Bruges was one of my favourite films of the last decade. It was dark, hilarious, heartwarming and you genuinely cared about the characters. It was also fantasticaly non-PC at times.
Heres a great scene for those of you who haven’t seen it!

  1. Awesome! I’ll sure be on the lookout for this flick cuz I loved “In Bruges”. Ralph Fiennes(sp?) was the best part of that movie and I hope they add him too to this new flick.

  2. Cool to have all these “Weirdos” in one film, I’ll love seeing Rockwell and Walken plat off each other and bring the goofy/odd.

    will look out
