Seems Jonah Hill never got over Emma Stone in Superbad, and now that the rest of the world wants her too, he is talking to her about playing a role in his potential 21 Jump Street
adaptation.
Emma Stone (Easy A, Zombieland) is in talks to play the female lead in Jonah Hill’s “21 Jump Street” movie, which will be directed by Phil Lord (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and begin filming early next year.
Stone is also on the short list to play one of two female leads in the upcoming “Spider-Man” reboot, along with Lily Collins (The Blind Side), Teresa Palmer and Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland). Entertainment Weekly says the two roles are for Mary Jane Watson and Gwen Stacy.
So Entertainment weekly says there WILL be a Mary Jane Watson? We were told that MJ would not be in the movie, and the love interest was
However if they are going with MJ, Emma Stone could be the supermodel to be provided she could put aside that charming dorkiness that I so enjoy in her. She certainly looks the part.
I Think(better yet, I hope) they’ll go for the Gwen Stacy angle and leave MJ in the background for this movie. Have a Green Goblin without the Power Rangers outfit, have awesome air battles in 3D and kill Gwen off at the end in a cliffhanger like the comics!

I am ok with Emma Stone, what she doesnt have in buxomness she makes up for with feisty, sexiness, and charm. Couple that were her overall acting skills and I say win.

I’m cold with Stone being MJ in the Spider-man reboot, but as long as she isn’t the main love interest.
Listen… I love emma stone. I want her and I to go out on a candlelit stroll on the beach. However, she isn’t drop-dead Mary Jane Watson gorgeous. She’s cute, she’s got the Mary Jane feisty attitude, but not the looks.
Yes but , have you seen how dorky Andre Garfield looks? In the real world someone who looks like that would have trouble getting a girl like Emma Stone and much more getting a hotter chic. She is solid to play Mary Jane in my opinion.
Emma Stone cleans up pretty glam if she wants to.
