Weather Girl

Mark HarmonA new indy film is about to be forged that tells the story of a recently separated weather woman! We get the scoop today from the fabled caves of Yahoo:

Mark Harmon (“NCIS”) and Tricia O’Kelley (“The New Adventures of Old Christine”) will star in the indie romantic comedy “Weather Girl.”

O’Kelley plays the title character who, upon learning that her boyfriend (Harmon) has cheated on her, is fired from her gig on a Seattle morning show after freaking out on-air. Forced to move in with her little brother and to cope with being 35, single and unemployed, she begins an unlikely romance with a younger man — her brother’s best friend. Weather Girl (“Friday Night Lights”) has been cast as Byron, the younger man, while Ryan Devlin (“Veronica Mars”) will play the brother.

This sounds like a good outline as far as I am concerned. Mr. Shoop gets busted getting action on the side, his wife has a meltdown, dumps his ass and then transforms into a cougar and hunkers down on younger cock! As I have said before, nothing turns a woman into an absolute slut quite like a breakup (rebound for the win). It will be funny to see how this plays out; this outline has me interested.

I have been a fan of Mark Harmon since 1987’s glorious Summer School. He has a delightful on screen presence and I have always thought that he should be used far more than he is. I can picture him as the “asshole” ex-boyfriend and look forward to his performance in this one. I also enjoy cougars, and look forward to this tale of revenge and debauchery!

  1. This probably isn’t your typo, but I think in that movie description where it says “Weather Girl (”Friday Night Lights”)” that’s a typo. it should say “Patrick J. Adams (‘Friday Night Lights’).” Anyway yea.
