It’s been a long time coming but today we finally get the first full episode of the Mortal Kombat web series to tie in with the latest entry in the fighting game series.
After finally watching the proper video I now understand why the hell Jax was chasing Kano in the last clip. I like a lot of what I’m seeing here and I’m beginning to think that this may develop into my favorite adaptation of the Mortal Kombat franchise thus far.

@andy – did u watch the episode at all? they literally are showing how kano became the way he is in the games… jax and sonya are dead on with the story with a few alterations and they are actually giving stryker his long overdue screen time… im loving what i see so far… i like how this is based in a more realistic universe… cant wait for ep 2
This is good stuff, now what we need is some funding from the right producer and production house to take this to the next level.
Yes its only Episode 1 but the concept is there and with the right people involved this could be a summer movie success. Looking forward to the next episode.

How was this in any way related to Mortal Kombat again, aside for the names of some of the characters…? Hmm… I don’t know about this one..
Are you familiar with the Motal Kombat universe? Even in the old video games Sonya and Jax were special forces type people who were chasing Kano because he was a black market arms dealer (among committing other crimes). There’s more to Mortal Kombat than Scorpion, Sub Zero, and Lui Kang.

Isn’t this the teaser episode from last year? The 1st episode of the series has Sonya at Kano’s facility, and Jax’s raid.
