This is a film I’m very curious about and put on my “Maybe See” list in my Summer 2009 Movie Preview post. Now, they’ve put up the “A Perfect Getaway” trailer for us to check out, and honestly I like the looks of it.
the basic idea of the movie is: “Two pairs of lovers (Zahn & Jovovich, Olyphant & Sanchez) on a Hawaiian vacation discover that psychopaths are stalking and murdering tourists on the islands.”

I’ve got a soft spot for movies like these that have a small small small cast. Looks like for the majority of the time we never see more than the 6 main characters. Bit of a horror/mystery movie at the same time. What do you think of the A Perfect Getaway trailer?

This looks like standard fare but the fact that David Twohy wrote and directed it? Now I’m very curious.

soo just an observation but this is the second preview I have seen recently that is using music from Nine Inch Nails… prolly the single reason I was excited to see Terminator… and we all know how that turned out.
side note: They put on an awesome show!

If the answer is “entertaining” then yes, we all know how that turned out. Otherwise, then no, we “all” do not know how that turned out. :D
I think the most accurate “how that turned out” would be “mixed reviews”
Which is to say that the inclusion of music he likes is no guarantee that the movie will be good.

One thing I have learned from watching all those bad movies is that you do NOT fuck with Milla Jovovich.
It looks pretty interesting…could be good, or we just saw the best parts of that movie in one trailer…a bit too early to tell.
