Prince of Peace – God of War News

Pop-Gow-Clip

Hey there guys. Man, we’re getting closer. Last summer I started this project (Prince of Peace – God of War) and now, in just 2 months it goes to DVD! Things are moving fast now, so I wanted to update you guys on a few things:

1) DVD RELEASE DATE

We’ve changed the DVD release date to October 16th. The film will be available here on The Movie Blog and through a few online retailers. Price will probably be somewhere around $45.99…. just kidding… probably around $16.

2) WEBSITE UPDATE

The official Prince of Peace – God of War site has been updated. Please check it out. We’ve added a few things as well as some critic quotes on the main page. It’s still a skeleton… but we’ll add more later. See it here at www.themovieblog.com/godofwar

3) EMBED FIRST 5 MINUTES ON YOUR BLOG

As you know, the first 5 minutes of the movie is available for people to view online. If you’d like to help spread the word and would like to embed the video on your blog/Facebook/MySpace, just right click HERE, and copy and paste the code into your site.

4) MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT COMING!

Ok, I can’t say what it is yet… but before Friday I have a pretty exciting announcement regarding the movie and its world premiere. I’m not allowed to mention it yet… but in the next few days I’ll let you in on it.

Thanks again for all your continued support! Please start spreading the word around to your friends, on your blogs, Facebook or MySpace pages.

  1. John, your announcement will be that you have been officially dubbed “son of the Movie God” and you wil direct Transformers 2: RAGING DINOBOTS!

  2. Rotten Tomatoes and Box Office Predictions!!!

    RT: 80%
    BO: 20 cents. haha.

A great film by critics, unfortunatly ONLY the critics who saw the film for free went to see it. One of them made a generous donation

All kidding aside, I hope to see this movie in some form. Sounds great.

  3. Your movie will surely be opening the Toronto film festival, and then they will not be allow you to enter the festival. You’ll have to read on aintitcool to find out how the movie was received. Alanis Morissette will write an ironical song about it, and people all around town will laugh merrily.
