John Talks To Ken Davitian (Azamat from Borat)

As most of you know, when I was down in Los Angeles a few weeks ago I had the huge thrill of getting together with Ken Davitian, the man who did the masterful job of playing Azamat Bagatov (Borat’s traveling partner and producer) in the Borat movie. The guy was genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve met, really down to earth and just plain cool. He also bought my dinner, so that puts him in my good books for life!

The other day Ken and I finally got the chance to connect again and talk about a bunch of stuff including:

– How he got the role of Azamat
– Some of his best memories working on Borat
– The infamous Hotel Room wrestling scene
– What he’s working on now
– The Borat DVD promotion
– His amazing business “The French Dip”
– His thoughts on Borat 2
– Some of the extras on the Borat DVD we can expect on Tuesday
