  52. Excellent Review!

    I agree greatly that Benchwarmers is one of the most pathetic films ever made.

    Benchwarmers wasn’t funny. The jokes were lame. The acting wasn’t the best either.

    But from what I noticed, this film seems to be favored by more of the middle school/junior high range. Why? I’m not quite sure. Maybe most of them are not picky with their movies, or just haven’t grown up yet.

  55. Wow.. I agree with lots, you are an idiot. I found the movie entertaining, and thanks for telling the people who want or like the film that they have no life. Do you got a sense of humor? Seems to me like you don’t from haft your reviews…

  56. Benchwarmers was an absolutely ridicous “movie”, if you want to call it that. The plot made absolutely no sense and many of the jokes were pathetic. That being said, I did laugh quite a bit at it, and unlike John, I though the performances (with the exception of Rob Scheider) are all pretty funny. Yeah, Heder plays Napoleon Dynamite again and David Spade is his typical David Spade character, but kind of like the old Zucher brothers movies, Benchwarmers throws out a million jokes in the hope that you’ll find something funny. The “jokes” that John mentioned in his review were actually the least funny in the movie. Instead there were actually quite a few one-liners that made me laugh my ass off. I’d be pissed if I had wasted my money to see this in the theater, but as a rental, it made me laugh.

  58. John campea you are an idiot. Benchwarmers wasnt funny to you because you fuckin think to much. This movie was true to its cause. Nerds. I am a nerd and every joke made, I thought was funny and I couldnt stop laughing till the end. You know why you didnt, because your testicles where chopped off as a child so that you could never be a dirty boy and touch yourself. Therefor you are a tightass with a lam review of a good movie.

  59. Im just wondering if yuo saw the same movie that i saw. Benchwarmers was a fantastic movie that kept me entertained. Yet you said that it was bad. This is why i hate critics. IN the past few monthes i went to see Last Holiday, The Matador, and Slither. What do they have in common. All bad but had good reviews. When i go to a movie i go to be entertained. And this movie does it. This movie is hilarious. Sure the movei has farts and ball shots but that takes about ten seconds of the movie. This movie is amazing and so is Duece Bigalow 2. Both funny movies that give me a reason to go to the movies.
