I can’t believe I’m typing this but I “laughed out loud” while watching this trailer. No, I really did a couple of times while watching this trailer for the movie “Paul” that’s starring Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, and features the voice of Seth Rogen as “Paul” an alien from outer space a-la “E.T.”. This new comedy directed by Greg Mottola, (Superbad), also features Sigourney Weaver and Jason Batemen.
Seth Rogen belongs in comedy. Good comedies, and you can’t go wrong when keeping company with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I really like what I see in this trailer, especially with the bird at the end. I enjoyed Superbad enough to give Mottola a shot and with his cast in place the movie has earned a spot on my radar of upcoming movies. What do you guys think of the trailer?
Looks funny, I laughed out loud as well. Looks better than Hot Fuzz at least.(softmore slump perhaps?)
