Man Discovered Dead After Eclipse Screening

Hey guys, Just wanted to let you know of this weird/disturbing report I came across. No joke intended here; apparently a person died after a screening of Eclipse…

CinemaBlend states:

The New Zealand Herald is reporting that a 23-year-old man was found dead in his seat after a screening of Eclipse ended on Sunday night. While doctors will be doing a post-mortem inspection, paramedics were unsure about the cause of death, seeing no obvious injuries. The man, who appears to have gone alone to the screening, was slumped over in his chair and went unnoticed by theater-goers.

Wow. This is just spooky. And yes, I know, it’s almost to a point where people will make jokes about this death and Eclipse tied together. Again, I’m not making fun of this. What I can’t believe is that people left the movie and the man just sat there. Nobody could’ve told him “Psss hey, the movies over buddy…”? C’mon?! And remember, it probably was full of people. Just weird.

What do you guys think? If you see a person sleeping or passed out, would you try to wake him up or something?

  1. I have to poke my dad awake at the movies all the time. It’d be pretty much instinct if there was someone near me not moving in their seat. In short: yes, I would.
