IDW Publishing Announces SDCC 2026 Lineup: TMNT, Godzilla, and More

IDW Publishing is set to make a significant impact at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, bringing a packed schedule of panels, exclusive merchandise, and creator signings to booth #2729. The publisher is highlighting a diverse range of titles, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla, and Star Trek, alongside new releases like Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World.

Panels and Special Guests

The convention schedule features daily panels designed to give fans a deep dive into IDW’s upcoming projects. A major highlight for gaming and comic fans occurs on Friday, July 17, during the TMNT panel. The session will feature special guest Shawn Kittelsen from Paramount Games, who will discuss the highly anticipated The Last Ronin video game. The panel also promises major updates regarding the future of the TMNT comic series as it celebrates its 300th issue.

Other scheduled programming includes a Godzilla-focused panel on Thursday, which will reveal the publisher’s kaiju-sized plans for 2026 and beyond. On Saturday, the focus shifts to horror with a panel featuring creators behind titles like Event Horizon and Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees. The convention concludes on Sunday with a celebration of the 60th anniversary of Star Trek, featuring updates on the comic series set after the finale of Star Trek: Picard.

Exclusives and Collectibles

Beyond the panels, IDW is offering a variety of convention exclusives at their booth. Attendees can look forward to limited-edition covers for titles such as Sonic X Godzilla, The Rocketeer: Infiltrator!, and The Horror of Godzilla. The booth will also stock exclusive apparel and lithographs, while freebies including ashcan previews and posters will be available throughout the event.

This year’s presence at SDCC underscores IDW’s continued commitment to its core franchises while showcasing its growing portfolio of horror and licensed properties. With 25 signings scheduled and a booth design tailored for the 2026 show floor, the publisher aims to provide a comprehensive experience for fans of its diverse comic book catalog.
